Not in My Ballarat x Snap Send Solve

Tiny Pride is leading a trial of the use of the innovative app Snap Send Solve to gather data about discrimination, harassment and vilification in the City of Ballarat.

Our theory is that sometimes, people don’t know how to report, they might hold a belief that the low level harassment they experience doesn’t count, or they’re too worried to report to authorities because of misconceptions about those responsible agencies and their ability to help.

We’d like to understand if people are experiencing discriminatory behaviours, whether they’re reporting them and where those incidents are happening to see if we can find any trend data and design responses.

Our strong focus will be on communities accessing the data that relates to them and their experiences and that they will be empowered to design and agree the response in a way that is self determined.
